"We had a lovely, relaxing time at L'Hirondelle. The accommodation is beautiful, overlooking the lake. Watching the house martins dip and dive was wonderful. And a delicious breakfast was icing on the cake. Many thanks, David and Rosemary"

"Great accommodation in “middle of nowhere”. Quiet place with superb rooms, brand new. Fully equipped kitchen available. Proactive and nice receptionist! I wish to stay there more than one night!"

O único que não me gostou foi o acesso ao salão do café da manhã. Os dias que ficamos choveu e o acesso era um pouco incômodo, por aí seria melhor uma rampa de cimento.

"Gostei muito da equipa da acomodação, foram todos muito simpáticos e ajudaram-me orientar na zona, trocar dinheiro etc. 5 minutos à pé há um centro de yoga e muito bom restaurante vegan."

Depois das 5 de tarde a viagem demora horas e horas porque o alojamento está na rua muito frequentada e sempre está com un traffic jam enorme e é única maneira como chegar. Durante o dia, ou mais tarde à noite, é melhor.

"Our room faced the water. Great view. The room is spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a room before we rented the full house with a group of friends. Despite it being 5 rooms, sharing one bathroom, it never felt crowded. Good value for an otherwise expensive travel destination. The bus stop is right by the house and there was always available public parking."

It’s also well-suited for longer-term stays, as it has everything you need to feel at home. One of the highlights was the beautiful view overlooking the fortress, which made mornings and evenings especially enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, showing genuine hospitality and making sure everything was perfect. Communication was smooth and helpful from start to finish. The apartment is also very affordable for what it offers, with reliable and fast WiFi, making it a great choice for both leisure and work stays. Overall, everything exceeded expectations—I would definitely stay here again."

"Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Kleines praktisches Zimmer mit kleinem Badezimmer(chen) zu einem angemessenen Preis. Bei Buchung wurde auf das kleine Badezimmer hingewiesen. Sehr bequemes Bett mit offenen Bettende und guter Matratze. Sehr ruhig. Frühstück mit verschiedener Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen und Gebäck. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich."

Das kleine Badezimmer(chen) ist wirklich sehr klein. Ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, weil es wurde bei der Buchung schon drauf hingewiesen.

"The host was very kind. The property was very cleaned. I had to leave super early to the airport, the owner got up so early to prepare food for me to eat on the way to the airport. He was super kind."

It is a bit out of the town but ok if you have a car. If there are many guests you will have to queue to use the shower room and toilet as it is a shared Barth room property.

"The host was very kind and helpful. He kept me good company and he showed me around his village and Panjakent. The food he served was very good too!"

It had everything you need in a guesthouse. However, some reforms need to be made, but the host told me he's working on it

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"Andrae e sua família são maravilhosos e muito prestativos! Quarto bem arejado, limpo e com bastante luz solar. Possui ar condicionado e disponibilizam toalhas. A localização é a melhor, muito próximo à praia, diversos comércios, supermercados, bares, restaurantes e cassinos. Além disso, Andrae é muito atencioso e sempre está disponível para ajudar! Foram dias maravilhosos em SXM!"

Gostei de tudo! Porém poderia ter sabonete liquido para as mãos no banheiro e por disponibilizar microondas e geladeira, disponibilizar alguns pratos, talheres e copos mesmo que descartáveis

"They upgraded us to a better room in the Dar Alma hotel with a sea view. It was gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious. One of the best places to stay in Tyre."

The flush in the bathroom didn't work, and they never came to fix it during our stay. Before arriving, they were very insistent in calling and asking for our arrival time, so I would reduce the communication with the staff if possible.

"I did like the way I was received and was shown around.Kessy is always available when you need her. My advice to anyone is to make sure you communicate the time of your arrival to her in time."
