"Lodge was great with comfortable room, excellent buffet dining room facility and small swimming pool to cool off in between excursions. The highlights are the 2-3 times daily excursions which really make the high cost absolutely worth it. Our guide, Alfredo, was amazing, bi-lingual, sensitive to the local environment and even played the guitar over dinner and breakfast!"

Only downside really is the fact that there is only 1 included boat time to the lodge and back from Iquitos. We had to pay $180 extra for a personal boat because LatAm airlines brought our flight forward - not the lodge's fault, but something to look out for.

"Beautiful surroundings, so calm. The host is incredibly helpful and kind. This refuge is his personal project, and you can see his passion. The surrounding villages are small but lovely to walk through. There are nice hikes possible, including to the peak of Mount Agou, the people on the paths will kindly guide you to your destination. They are truly kind."

The location on the map is slightly off, ask for a pin before you arrive to make sure you find the right place!

"Tivemos momentos incríveis no Intrepids, sem dúvidas um dos melhores hotéis que já fiquei. Os funcionários são todos muitos gentis e educados. Em especial Duncan, que nos acolheu muito bem, Pauline - nossa querida garçonete que se tornou amiga ♥️ e ao John, nosso herói que nos proporcionou visões incríveis dos animais no nossos passeios de carro. "O Shamwari com certeza foi nosso ponto alto da viagem !!! All inclusive ( incluindo bebidas alcoólicas ) muito bem decorado, lindo , os funcionários são todos muito simpáticos e muito prestativos, a comida é maravilhosa e os safaris nem se fala !!! A piscina já dá de cara com uma fonte de água onde passam por lá zebras , girafas , antílopes entre outros animais . Os safáris duram 3 horas ou mais e nosso guia Abel foi espetacular ! Faz de tudo para conseguirmos ver os big 5 e vai explicando tudo ! Reserva enorme, com muitos animais e você não vai se arrepender !"

"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"Great location. Super friendly staff who provided a warm welcome and farewell. Since there were only a few guests, they upgraded our rooms to exceptional ones. Excellent activities and dinner. Cozy fireplace at night. A fantastic experience. Definitely worth repeating and highly recommended."

Malheureusement été déçus par le jacuzzi qui ne fonctionnait pas. C'est le point qui nous a le plus dérangés et qui a gâché le séjour car j'ai payé un supplément pour profiter de cette option avec mes enfants cela devait être une surprise. Je tiens tout de même à remercier le membre du personnel qui a tenté de faire une réparation. Malgré ses efforts et sa bonne volonté, le problème n'a pas pu être résolu. C'est dommage de ne pas avoir pu en profiter durant notre séjour.

"A little gem of a hotel in a most beautiful location. The staff give an extremely warm reception, they are super friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and what can be done…..if they didn’t know, they knew someone who does. For example, they arranged a night watching the turtles and a guide to walk some local waterfalls. The food was out of this world, fresh and local produce cooked by chefs who’ve been cooking their whole life."

"This is a fantastic location if you want to get away from the bustle of the city and only half an hour from the airport and Agadir. Beautifully restored Kasbah with productive gardens and a salt water pool (perfect if like me you can't cope with chlorine) We were lucky enough to visit after rain and the wildflowers blooming in the surrounding fields were beautiful. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly."

"Great and unusual stay! Because is non tourist season, most of places near were closed, but owner kindly suggested to us where we can enjoy food - place Ataman, with kind woman i house athmosfer. Super clean place, amazing view, birds, and parking - everything for the trip on wild nature. They also have very cute cat if you love animals 😊 Forest near, lake, we really enjoyed walking around."

"Best location ever! So close to the ocean you can walk straight to it at 5 AM for a morning swim. Great swimming pool, and the Green Turtle restaurant was awesome."

"Incredibly stay! The photos don’t show how beautiful the grounds are. Super recommend the tents and wandering down to the beach clubs in the area for beers and a swim. All of the staff were amazing at helping us organise everything and the food was delicious - special shout out to Brigitte for making our stay extra special, even letting us come into the kitchen so we could learn how to make African tea - we miss you Brigitte!!!"

"Great location at the South side of Song Kul lake. Breakfast was tasty and plenty. You can also get (packed) lunches and dinner. Phone reception is good and you can charge your phone in the evening in the main yurt. Stayed for two nights there. So peaceful and relaxing. Loved it!"

O teto é baixo. Não vi nenhum local na descrição avisando sobre isso. Se você possui mais que 1,70m não conseguirá ficar em pé confortavelmente dentro do quarto. O banho e o vaso sanitário ficam separados e não há pia. A pia fica dentro do quarto.

"This property was tucked away in the rain forest. Alejandro was exceptional, his knowledge of nature and the beneficial properties of plants from his garden which he had specifically grown was like having a professor with us all the time. He and His wife Christiana also incorporated some of the fruit and vegetables into our stunning breakfasts which were freshly prepared each morning.. Alejandro was incredibly helpful booking restaurants. He always greeted us with a smile and was a perfect host. We felt perfectly relaxed by the end of the stay."

Would have liked more light, and water pressure but to be honest we didn’t mention it to him so he could fix it.

"You get to see the night sky through the glass roof. It’s a wonderful experience to sleep under the stars or snow!"

Hotel tem que ser valorizado por ser rústico, amamos o chalé, apenas um pouco escuro a iluminação do hotel, mas nada que desabone a experiência.

"A propriedade conta com vários bangalôs nas imediações do Parque Torres del Paine. A vista das montanhas é incrível e estar ali, em meio à natureza, longe do fervo dos hotéis e das cidades, faz muita diferença. Além da localização, a cabana em si é excelente, com tudo o que você pode precisar para uma estadia plena -- fogão, geladeira, utensílios gerais (só não esqueça que você precisa levar todos os mantimentos, já que não há mercados nas imediações). Além disso, o aquecimento é excelente, chegando até mesmo ao piso. As camas são boas e o chuveiro também -- no bangalô de dois quartos, aliás, há um banheiro em cada quarto. Mas o melhor são as janelas, ah, meu amigo, as janelas, que emolduram o maciço do parque, com aquelas montanhas imensas, são imbatíveis. Tomar café da manhã com esse visual é um privilégio que poucos lugares oferecem."

Que no todas las habitaciones tienen agua caliente. Pero ya lo está solucionando
