"Wonderful friendly staff - Marie-Helene and the rest of the staff made us feel totally at home. Delicious freshly cooked food. Super calm and peaceful in beautiful surroundings - a tonic after Dakar and Saint Louis. Relatively accessible for Saloum Delta which we loved. Great air conditioning. Lovely swimming pool"

Water pressure was low at certain times - pipe being repaired, so perhaps temporary. You'll need a car to get around (we got a taxi for 10.000 - 15.000 CFA each way to Ndangane.)

"Comfortable stay in a Vintage house, outback-Australia style. Has all things in the kitchen to use if self catering.Hot shower .Central, close to a lovely beach and restaurants. But 2 km from main supermarket. Recommended"

"excellent breakfast, efficient staff, nice location to visit Gent and other places. Good selection of restaurants nearby whereby the owner assisted in providing the available options. Linnen was good including the towels."

The showerhead is located halfway through the shower cubicle which meant that a lot of water came inside the bathroom while taken a shower. The ventilator didn't operate in the bathroom which meant that a small window was left open in the bathroom for ventilation. The drawback was ingress of mosquitoes into the room/bathroom. The lighting in the room could be enhanced, often we felt that the room was too dark.

"Exceptional environment, well-kept, among the trees, calm, peaceful. The cottages are built in such a way that they have a pleasant temperature without air conditioning or fans. At night, for the first time in Gambia, I had to cover myself with a duvet. The owner and staff were extremely kind, accommodating, unobtrusive."

"O quarto é lindo, a vista realmente é muito bonita, o por do sol foi maravilhoso e durante a noite vimos estrelas cadentes. Estava tudo limpinho, os funcionários foram muito simpáticos e o café da manhã estava bom. Foi um ótimo local para descansar depois de fazer a trilha da Serra Malagueta."

A pausada não fica exatamente ao pé da serra então tivemos que andar um pouco, com relação a custo benefício, acho o preço um pouco salgado, do local e das refeições (mas isso é algo subjetivo).

"ВСЕ!!! 10 дней, которые мы были в отеле, были окружены заботой, теплом, вниманием и помощью персонала по всем вопросам (включая практически невозможный обмен авиабилетов из Янгона в Бангкок не выходя из отеля) Пляж - просто прекрасен. Да, на нем нет удобств (кроме лежаков около отеля), но и отдыхающих, в общем-то, тоже нет. И 1,5 км пустынного пляжа в твоем полном распоряжении каждый день - что может быть лучше... Еда в ресторане не блещет разнообразием, но ОЧЕНЬ достойная. Морепродукты, естественно, свежайшие, каждый день! Отдельные слова благодарности хозяйке! За почти 30 лет путешествий по миру было очень немного мест, где хозяин лично встречает и провожает гостей, и каждый день интересуется настроением и возможными вопросами к проживанию. Если будет возможность - непременно стоит сюда приехать!!!"

"This accommodation is surrounded by beautiful scenery and cafes with beautiful scenery. It’s much recommended for tourist who is looking for quiet and peaceful stay. There is warmer installed under the wooden flooring so it is very comfortable to sleep on during winter. Our stay became more interesting in the morning when the host enthusiastically prepared us a tableful of breakfast. She prepared costumes for the children and initiated to take photos for us within the house and at the beautiful yard."

I am very particular with cleanliness so I didn’t feel that the bedding and pillows were very fresh. The place is actually not difficult to find but we tried taking a bus from Yeonsinnae Station and we took more than an hour to look for the bus stop with the bus that took us up to Eunpyeong area.

"It was lovely staying in a traditional house in Kakopetria & being able to hear the river from our room. A lovely breakfast of cereals, toast, eggs, cheese, yoghurt, olives & cold meats (if you eat them) was provided. It was in a great location in the old town."

The bed was a bit soft for us, and it would have been nice to have a rug on the cold floor - we were there in March.

Host was also amazing, very friendly, talked to us, gave us advice about our upcoming trip to the lakes, very sweet. 10/10 if youre looking for a relaxing place with a spirit!"

"I had an excellent stay at Top Lodge, certainly, an improvement from my previous stays here. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, ensuring a warm welcome and attentive service throughout. The lodge itself was impeccably clean, and the pool area provided a perfect spot for relaxation. Additionally, the breakfast served at Top Lodge was simply delicious, and filling. Overall, I highly recommend Top Lodge for its friendly staff, cleanliness, delicious breakfast, reliable Wi-Fi, and inviting pool area."

"Gilles & Henriette were superb hosts and made us feel at home. The setting is so tranquil and like a home from home. Breakfast was an unexpected highlight - especially the delicious homemade jams and coconut bread, plus the fruit from the garden. Don't miss sunset drinks and dinner at the Opoa Beach Hotel down the road - plus there's tasty pizza on offer next door too."

Nothing - it was all great. However, be prepared for a steep drive down to the property. We were glad we arrived in daylight. 🙂

"It is a unique carribean cottage, which is a little gem. It is a five minute walk to a lovely beach. We cooked in as the kitchen had everything one required. We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

"Perfect location, next to ski slope. Amazing place for skiers/ snowboarders, however you can reach it only directly from slope (but it makes stay even better) we could leave backpakcs at reception, and ski until checking. Stuff is very friendly and helpful."

"The room was beautiful opening up to a sea view. Could go kayaking from just outside the room. The lodge had kayaks and life jackets available to guests. Could also go fishing or swimming - just idyllic! The staff were also really helpful. I would most definitely stay here again."

"O ambiente e instalações do hotel são incríveis! Tem uma pegada ecológica com sistema de aquecimento sustentável. Muito legal! Na recepção tem jogos de mesa (dama, pebolim, sinuca). Nos chalés, o quarto é aconchegante e o banheiro tem tamanho adequado. O espaço que é servido o café da manhã é bom e as opções também."

A acomodação é um pouco afastada do centro, o que acarreta custos adicionais com transporte até os pontos de onde sai os passeios, restaurantes etc.
