"I like the quietness and the atmosphere is close to supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the beach. The owners were very friendly and looked after us well."

"Super freundliche Gastgeber und sehr viel Platz auch zum selber kochen. Großer Kühlschrank."

"Es gab keine Klimaanlage und der Ventilator war leider sehr laut. Es gab keine Fenster im Schlafzimmer wodurch es stickig war. Offene Belüftungslöcher boten Mücken keine Einhalt. Das Bett war aber geschützt mit einem Gitter."

"This small hotel is a real oasis that is unexpected when you approach the unassuming location. Once through the gates it is a wow destination that feels a bit like stepping back in time. We loved the pool, the grounds, the outside spaces, restaurant and access to the beach. We had the room at the front with the plunge pool which felt private and exclusive. We felt very spoilt by the staff here, especially Nisha who looked after us so well. Afternoon tea was a lovely bonus and breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Thank you for our three nights of total relaxation. We didn’t want to leave !"

"This was the nicest place I stayed during my trip to Sri Lanka. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they made us feel at home from the very beginning. The room was spotless – actually the cleanest room I had during my entire stay in Sri Lanka. What made this place truly special was the hospitality of the hosts. They invited us to cook together and later we shared a wonderful dinner in their home. It was a beautiful experience and a great way to learn more about local culture. Breakfast was very generous, beautifully prepared and everything was extremely clean and well organized. The hosts were always available and happy to help with anything we needed. I can honestly say this was the warmest and most memorable accommodation I experienced in Sri Lanka. I highly recommend staying here."

"I had to change accommodation in Hirikiteya very late at night due to an issue with my previous place and the owner came from her home at midnight just to let me in. She was truly so kind and generous, not to mention the room and view on my balcony was stunning. You’re literally 10 seconds walk from the water and nearby cafes and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back already!"
