"Everything is close and they bring you food to your room."

"All good. Just remember that a Khmer person can give them $100, and they don't flinch. You give them $20 bucks and they act as if it is fake. Every weird."

"The hotel is located above the local market, just two blocks from the river, making it perfectly situated for exploring the area. The building itself is a beautifully renovated colonial-style property that once served as government offices, adding a unique sense of history and character. The décor is exceptional and truly transports you—it feels like stepping onto the set of a Casablanca film. Alex, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to assist us in coordinating a tour to see the dolphins and arranging our transfer to Siem Reap, which made our trip seamless and stress-free. With only three rooms in the building, the atmosphere feels intimate and exclusive. Our room featured a large, comfortable bed and was thoughtfully designed, with beautiful decorative touches throughout. We highly recommend it!"

My host and his lovely family went out of their way to make my stay as memorable as possible far away from all the tourist madness. I also booked a fabulous overnight hike through the jungle with them, which I cannot recommend enough. And when they have guests, the owner can teach the local kids some English, so stay here."

"The host Olaf and his family were very welcoming...very clean comfortable well run establishment...the bed was even comfortable (rare for Cambodia)... also the breakfast was excellent. Olaf can help you with most things, motorbike hire,trips, tickets etc...even has a printing service for visas etc. A very quiet relaxing guest house. Great value."

"The facilites - the gym was phenomenal inc a boxing ring and the his and her plunge pools and salt saunas which were all free . The infinity pool was great and a great view over the mekong river and there were sun umbrellas for shade which a lot of the other hotels lacked. The breakfast was excellent and there was so much choice inc freshly cooked waffles and the staff were so attentive at topping up water and clearing plates away. All the staff were so friendly from ley ley on reception to the supervisor lady at breakfast to Chris the general manager. It really is an excellent top 5 star hotel and deserves all the awards it has won ."
