The authenticity, genuine friendliness and welcoming hearts of the people of the community made this stay incredibly unique and one of the best experiences of my life. When staying here one can get closer to locals, animals, cultural sights, traditions, local way of life, nature and the PNG culture in general then in any other accommodation. The PNGFE made my stay very comfortable and made me experience local life and the raw nature of PNG!!"

The guesthouse is only a 5 min walk to a lovely restaurant and another 5 mins to centre of town yet it’s so peaceful. Room was very clean and comfortable with great aircon. A lounge area is available with tea/coffee, fridge and microwave. Lovely outdoor seating area. I highly recommend this beautiful guesthouse."

Conveniently located walking distance from the port, but still in quiet and private location. We felt straight at home. "Everything was excellent! Perfect location, walking distance to the center. Incredible restaurant next door with very friendly prices and outstanding food. Jorge is the best host I have ever had. He is very friendly and very human person. We had our car broken and he had helped us to push the car to car service and let us to store our staff in his house off the charge. Rooms are very clean, good kitchen, incredible veranda with cool view and BBQ station, hot water, fast Wi-Fi. Totally recommend"

1 socket per room is very little. No heaters in the room so in the night (we were in August) is a little chill but blankets are warm

My room was on the small side and only had a small window towards the kitchen. A power strip with schuko (eu) plugs would be a nice addition in the room.

As anfitriãs são bastante simpáticas e prestativas, gente boa. Há banheiros, cozinha e sala de jantar compartilhadas. Há um caixa eletrônico bem próximo ao local. O ponto de referência para poder chegar na hospedagem é em frente ao (Bairro dos portugueses). No geral, uma das melhores opções custo-benefício para se hospedar em São Tomé e Príncipe."

"Fantastic, amazing,clean beautiful cosy place. Very friendly and felpful owner, he brought us butter, as I forgot and also tea. He helped me about what to see in the area. "Apesar de ser próximo a todos pontos turísticos e ao centro histórico, a rua é bastante tranquila, sem incômodos a noite! O quarto é um charme (o local possui apenas 2 quartos e uma área comum com cozinha bem equipada). Tudo limpo Cama super confortável"

Nada que atrapalhe a estadia, apenas um ponto de atenção é que como a área comum fica no andar de cima e o chão é de tábua corrida podem haver desconfortos com ruídos. Minha sugestão é que para questão de convivência ter um horário limite para utilizar o local 😉. Outro ponto apenas é o cuidado com a escada para a subida. Ela possui degraus curto e com risco de queda.

For me, having visited the Singapore tourism highlights on a previous visit, it was not an issue at all, but good to be aware that those highlights take a bit of time to get to. Also good to be aware you are welcomed into an actual home while the owners are living there. It's part of the charm.
