"Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen und komfortabel, die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns, dass wir zwei Bäder hatten und der schöne Garten, in dem man gemütlich frühstücken konnte. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Es gab auch die Möglichkeit dass für uns traditionelles Essen gekocht wird, was sehr lecker war, und unsere Wäsche gewaschen wird. Wir bedanken uns sehr herzlich und freuen uns, nochmal wieder zu kommen :)"

There are two things that make this an amazing experience: 1.) The clarity of the sea water and the ease of access. 2.) The staff and management are top notch: attention to customer service is second to none in all respects: from the management to the guy taking care of the rooms. Very highly recommended."

"The host was very nice and helping. Location is 20 minutes from the sea by car. The room was really clean. Hosts helped us with the grill."

"Yes, it was a surprise to find that we had breakfast and some supplies so we didn't have to shop on the first day we arrived. also our flight from South Africa didn't arrive until quite late and our taxi was not waiting at the airport so it was very late at night before we got to Villa Mia. In spite of this our hosts were waiting to greet us on arrival, which was much appreciated."

Maybe the host could have dropped in at some time during our stay to see how we were going.

"I really enjoyed my stay at Casaroro Residence. The accommodation is located in a mountainous region surrounded by nature. It's very quiet, no traffic noise. Waterfalls and hiking trails are nearby. The room is well equipped. Large double bed with a very comfortable mattress. Aircon is super silent. There's a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with hot shower and outside you can sit on a veranda which is protected by mosquito nets and there's also a barbecue area outside. The internet connection is stable and quite fast, for entertainment there's flat screen TV with Netflix and even a Playstation4. For this budget this is one of the best places i ever stayed. I can absolutely recommend this place!"

Nothing to complain about

"Boendet ligger i Regent som ligger lite högre upp i bergen jämfört med Freetown. Det gör att det är lite svalare och inte så tryckande värme som nere i stan. Det är visserligen en bit att köra om man ska in i centrum, men samtidigt är det inte så mycket bilköer som inne i stan. Värdarna tog hand om oss på ett bra sätt och huset vi hyrde hade rätt bra standard. Hög standard för att vara i Sierra Leone."

Jag har inte något som jag inte tyckte om. Möjligen att du måste ha tillgång till egen transport om du enkelt ska ta dig till och från boendet.

"The resort was lovely with a choice of pools and its own beach. The staff around the pool were very attentive and polite as were the security staff at the apartments. We were able to order food to our apartment from the menu on the TV."

The resort was quite remote and there weren't any decent supermarkets very near to buy food/drinks when we were self catering. The resort was quite expensive for food so we couldn't afford to eat there all the time. The apartment itself was nice. We booked it for 4 adults and 2 children as it was advertised as having one large double in one room and 2 small doubles in the other When we got there the 2 small doubles were singles and not suitable for 2 adults & 2 children. Fortunately our circumstances changed and only our son & 2 grandsons visited for one night with our son having to sleep in the single maid's room.

It was rather basic and the water pressure was low so that at certain times I was unable to shower.

"Lovely rustic hut. It’s perfect if you prefer something out of the way. Very peaceful and beautiful views. Due to the snow there was no car access, that was ok with us, but something to consider, short walk to the hut was pretty steep. Very wintery conditions and lots of snow was particularly charming."

"Incredible views, tranquility, great walks nearby. Plenty of living space for a family, good kitchen, and two toilets."

Slightly noisy neighbours late at night.

"The villa is spacious and well ventilated. The swimming pool is clean and almost entirely ours. The staff Grace and Amani are very good and welcoming. The owner Monica is also good and always checking whether we were comfortable."

A microwave is very necessary. I didn't see an iron box either but I didn't ask whether there was one. The deserted bushy stretch of the road from the main road is scaring especially at night.

"Marites and Belal are excellent hosts. They made me feel welcome and appreciated. The house is situated just off Broadway with easy access to the town center, sites, and shopping. On my next trip Tinian, I will definitely check with Tinian Island Haven for availability."
