Ideally located to visit tourist attractions within reasonable radius. Piggs Peak town 1km away and provides all necessary shops, fuel stations and off course a KFC."

"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?

"O quarto era excelente, muito limpo e bem espaçoso, com boas instalações como micro-ondas e ferro de passar. Banheiro muito limpo e também bem espaçoso. Bela vista da orla de Marsaxlokk e próxima de bons restaurantes, além de próximo do ponto de ônibus. Café da manhã simples, porém muito gostoso. Funcionários simpáticos e solícitos."

Marsaxlokk é um local um pouco mais afastado dos pontos principais de Malta, como Valletta e St Julians, o que dificultava um pouco o acesso à esses lugares. Principalmente por conta do transporte público, uma vez que os ônibus que ali passavam tinham horários limitados.

Isso não é algo relacionado ao local, mas as pessoas. Mesmo com aviso que não pode fazer barulho após as 22:00, tem gente que não tem noção e as 4 da manhã ficou batendo porta, fazendo comida esse horário e largou a louça toda suja na pia, mas foi um fato isolado.

A cozinha poderia estar melhor equipada, com mais copos, pratos e talheres.

"The owners were right next door and very accomodating. They were very nice people.The apartment was clean and everything was provided. The air conditioner worked well and there was a little outdoor porch with a breeze. There was also a washing machine in the apartment."

Thibaud is rather isolated and buses are few and far between.

"Very friendly and helpful hosts, very sweet of them to call and paid for a taxi for us when we were leaving. They offered us food and presents too. Informed us of good spots to visit too."

Wifi was a bit slow, but not a big problem.

"A very quiet place for the night with a pretty view of the surrounding mountains. A simple, affordable accommodation. Walking distance about 10-15 minutes from town."

It's hard to escape noise in this part of the world. There was some very loud music playing at local bars at night. We had to kill a lot of mosquitos

"Great location 3 minutes walk from the main square, a beautiful cave room and a hotel with a character. Stunning views from the restaurant, very helpful and professional receptionist (Fifi). Breakfast with a wide choice of food."

Wifi was very poor in our room, but it worked well in the hotel restaurant

Com uma varanda privada, vista para a piscina, lago e animais foram 2 dias que deviam ter sido 10! Recomendo e com certeza voltarei. Não esquecer de mencionar a variedade do pequeno-almoço. 10/10"

"Very close to the water. Wonderful view of the Colpoy's Bay. The Milky Way can be seen with the naked eye. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Great for a relaxing trip."

Difícil falar o que não gostei. Um dos quartos que tinha uma janela que não ventilação tão bem e o banho saia pouca água.. Mas apenas isso.

The place was clean, but it felt like there was room for improvement. Additionally, cars with low ground clearance would need to be parked approximately 100 meters away.

"Rooms are spread over several terraces with lots of flowers. We were on the top and had a great view. Being at elevation, it's nice and cool at night. No fans needed. Great new showers with good hot water. They have a pump system through which there is still water when the power is out. A generator is turned on if there is a power cut in the morning or evening. The restaurant is very good. During lunch it is particularly well visited. For breakfast and dinner it's primarily hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of fruits and good bread. Dinner was a daily changing dish by a daily rotating local chef. Large parking lot. Nearby attractions are Monte Café and Cascata de São Nicolau."

We arrived right on the day of a big storm which primarily hit the highlands. For the next few days CST, the telephone company, was everywhere fixing lines. There was no wifi for the whole two days we were at the hotel. It is possible that this was a consequence of the storm. We made it work with mobile data. The hotel sells credits if you have a CST Sim card.

"Very nice host, trying to accommodate all my requests. Very authentic stay close to the volcano. The volcano and the red glow are visible from the hut."

As all activities and transport are organized by the host, I sometimes had to wait quite long time for the driver to arrive. This was not the hosts fault, but it is important to know when planning a trip to Tanna.

"Atendimento foi ótimo, rapaz que nos recebeu foi muito simpático e solicito. O café da manhã era ótimo! Rapidamente era servido. O quarto está limpo e organizado, tinha um tamanho ideal para acomodar o casal e as malas."

Gostamos de tudo, só deixaria como sugestão melhorar o local de banho. O chuveiro é baixo, dificultando o banho para pessoas altas, e o cubículo do chuveiro também é bastante apertado. O banheiro é enorme mas o espaço do chuveiro é bem pequeno e apertado.
