Chalés alpinos na Tunísia

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

I would like to suggest to have more small spoon. There were only 2 so not enough for a family of 5

Le petit chemin qui mène jusqu'à l'hébergement est un peu difficile à emprunter. Surtout avec les bagages.

"Really liked the cabin placed on the hillside with all the trees and their colors."

How close the cabins are to each other… Had a big family next to us that was loud out on their deck.

"Marc e Vee são ótimos anfitriões, com otimas dicas locais e sempre dispostos a ajudar, além do transfer que eles fazem já incluído na locação. A casa embora fique afastada do agito da ilha, em 15 minutos de carro vc estará em Palm Beach ou Baby Beach. Aconselho alugar um carro com o próprio Marc! A casa é confortável e fica num lugar tranquilo, com uma piscina privativa e uma varandinha aconchegante. Tem um mercadinho perto para emergências e um food truck próximo tambem. Nossa estadia foi ótima e pretendemos voltar no futuro."

"Very beautiful place to stay in nature. It has most things one need for a short stay. It’s very good for its price. Also clean nice towels and sheets available."

There is no shampo and hand wash there.

"When we received the keys, we were given all the necessary information about our stay. The owner was very kind and even offered us an apartment with a better view. I really appreciate that what I saw in the photos was actually even nicer in reality. The chalet looks exactly like in the pictures (including the equipment) and so does the surrounding area. The location is absolutely perfect for hiking trips – if you want to visit the Logar Valley or Velika Planina, it’s about a 90-minute drive by car. I also appreciated the convenient parking right next to the chalet."

"Our third visit to the chalet....as ever, the chalet was beautifully presented, comfortable and warm, with everything you need. The view is to die for and Noirin and her husband were a great help, as always, and looked after us in every way....a tue gem of a property...."
