"Very nice view onto the valley and the volcano. We were watching the stars and shooting stars from the very comfortable bed. Although it was cold outside, the blankets and heater keep you warm. The jacuzzi was nice as well."

The water in the jacuzzi is warm but not hot, but it wasn’t bad and totally acceptable for being in the middle of nowhere.

"The breakfast was amazing. The hosts were very kind. The view was stunning."

The road to get to the lodge was in terrible shape.

"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

"I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in the mountains. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush nature and breathtaking views. The peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax, slow down, and enjoy the beauty of Bali. Special thanks to Sammy, for his kindness and for making guests feel so valued. "Great location, staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was lovely. Cooking class was enjoyable could have been more extensive and involved."

Little bit of confusion over what meals were included in the rate however staff were really nice and we were able to resolve easily.

De afstand om naar de badkamer te lopen was snachts in de regen wat ver.

"The Mankwe tented retreat is a little gem of a place, strategically located between Moremi and Khwai, with a good access to Mababe area and thus offering a wide variety of habitats with very good biodiversity. The tents are comfortable and the setting is very secluded and peaceful ... we were the only people staying at it at the time! ;) The team are very friendly and the game drives in particular very good - Op deserves high praise!"

Food options could be a bit more varied, but the cook is rather responsive. The pool seemed in need of a refresh.

There was nothing that I didn’t like. I would offer a suggestion that a mosquito net is put over the bed.

The camp is incredibly peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to disconnect and forget about the stress of everyday life. The atmosphere is simply magical. Being surrounded by the desert and having the freedom to walk through the dunes at any time truly makes this place special and unforgettable. The staff were exceptional in every way – always kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They took care of everything and made us feel completely welcome and relaxed throughout our stay. The food was also outstanding – fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. We honestly cannot understand some of the negative comments regarding the food, as our experience was excellent in every aspect. If you are looking for tranquility, stunning desert scenery, and warm hospitality, this is the perfect place. We would return anytime!"

"É somente uma casa, em lugar afastado. Então tudo deve ser comprado (trazido) em Calingasta ou em Boreal, pois não tem nada nas imediações. Já sabíamos disto, então, nos prevenimos. Foi possível passear pela região e conhecer outros lugares em cima da Cordilheira. A estrada está toda asfaltada e o asfalto é bom."

Acertamos uns dias muito quentes, então foi calor pra dormir à noite.

The neighbors were playing music very loudly until midnight. It’s still glamping and not a hotel room so it was disturbing but that can always happen when you go camping.
