"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . "Location near the sea and grocery store. Found also a home bakery nearby. Beautiful, a bit rustic town under pine trees. Sandy beach and lot of quiet streets to discover. Appartment was warm, nice, and had all the basic things. Lovely yard."

There was no bed sheet for the second bed (sofa), and when we opened the sofa, there was sand from the previous visitors. The hosts reacted to our request and it was cleaned. Some other tiny issues - only 2 mugs in the cupboard (4 glasses), and the 3rd cup was found on the floor of shower room. We missed washing up liquid and kitchen towels too.

Weird smell coming from the kitchen cupboards under the sink.

"The unit was very very clean. We were close to the beach. Walking distance. Beach towels , chairs and umbrella were available. There was a beach bar right on the beach that we ate at. We did not rent a car. We used M&M taxi while we were there. Awesome service. We also ate at Miss B. Another spot on the beach front. We enjoyed our time. Thank you. We were a party of three. Wifi was able to handle all your streaming needs."

"Very cozy place owned by an incredibly friendly and welcoming family. Breakfast was included in the price and it was always absolutely delicious — thanks to them, I had the chance to try several traditional Sri Lankan dishes I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Whenever I needed anything, they were quick to help and always took care of everything with a smile. Their hospitality truly made my stay feel special and comfortable. Thank you once again for such a warm and memorable experience!"

The place is located a bit farther from the main areas, so you’ll need to walk a few kilometers, take a tuk-tuk, or have your own vehicle. However, there is a small convenience shop right next to the accommodation, which is handy if you need anything. If you’re sensitive to noise at night, it might be an issue — though that’s quite common for most hostels and village houses in Sri Lanka.

"The accommodation was in the flat, which was on the first Floor. It was a private room with AC and TV. You could cook in the kitchen. McDonald's was a one-minute walk away. The public beach is 5 minutes by car. Qidfa beach. The beach is very clean. The landlord is a very friendly and nice person. The flat had no small kids, and it was very calm. Close to Fujairah and Khor Fakkan. You would stay here 1 or more nights."

"Facility was extremely nice, high ceilings with crown molding made it feel bigger than it actually was. Decor was very nice, and there were amenities aplenty. Huge balcony facing the Gulf. It felt like we were staying in our own ready-made home, complete with old Bible with plenty of notes :-)"

Refrigerator was very nice and modern, but the ice machine put out ice with mold on it. We checked the ice tray itself, and the ice was fine, so guessing the dispenser was to blame. The jacuzzi jets, as well, blew out particles of mold, some significant, when engaged. We did not see this in the tub until after the water had been drained. We did not let these factors detract from the overall experience, but, but mold is a pretty major thing that we'd suggest checking more often. Be aware that the check-in instructions you get from your booking agency may not reflect actual conditions/requirements, but this is not a problem with the host.

"O apartamento tem uma localização excelente, sendo possível conhecer os principais pontos turísticos de Saragoça à pé, com o bônus de ter uma vaga de parking. A vista do terraço é linda, sendo possível ver a catedral iluminada até da cama no quarto. É preciso mencionar também a recepção acolhedora dos anfitriões Ricardo e Jorge, que fornecem dicas de atrações e restaurantes na cidade. Recomendamos e voltaremos se um dia passarmos por Saragoça novamente."
