"It’s the best hostel in Kigali!! You should definitely go. Everything is simply perfect. I slept like a baby and felt really cozy and comfortable. The owner and the staff are extremely helpful and respectful. The price is amazing. It’s not in the city centre but it’s in an amazing area. There is a restaurant nearby called Kabuye so cheap (1000-1500 a meal!!!!). And a Zumba supermarket walking distance . You take a motorbike and get anywhere . The view on the hills is simply stunning . I will always come back here if I come to Kigali!!! You will read reviews about no hot water but they are installing it these days so you will have it very soon"

"I loved the peace and quiet at bedtime, and how we, though strangers, gave grace to each other like family. The games we played at the end of the day before bed were so much fun....I even learned new ones! The staff were very supportive, offering tips on places to visit and transport fares. Let’s just say, it was AMAZING—kudos!"

"Noticed a few missing items: rubber squeezers, enough mops, bathroom sandals, toilet balls, air fresheners, and brooms. A piece of bar soap for the ladies would also help. Thanks!"

"The mixed dorm is a bit crammed and right next to the kitchen so you are woken up at 630am by staff who leave the door open."

"Xenia is a place of community and connection. Every time I came back, I was welcomed and greeted like a family member. We all hung out together, there is a kitchen and a great communal space."

"Place was awesome! Faris and his staff were super helpful. I had a room it was clean and comfy, the hot water shower good and the view was great! You can take a motorcycle taxi to anywhere in town for only a dollar."
