Dalen Hotel

"Chef entendeu nossa solicitação e serviu um menu degustação de 4 pratos e outro de 6. Inicialmente disseram que a mesa tinha que pedir o mesmo menu degustação, que não atenderia às para nossas preferências."

"Wonderful staff in the hotel. Very friendly and helpful. The location is superb. The hotel itself is a fascinating building- architecturally unique; it’s full of interesting artifacts and pictures which the very knowledgeable staff are only too happy to describe/explain. Dinner was wonderful - three courses was absolutely more than enough! Breakfast was equally good. We were only there for one night but wished we were there longer"

"Difficult- but a kettle and or tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be great but we appreciate the difficulty of providing this in an historic building."

"Amazing views, history, staff and breakfast. It is an experience to stay here."

"Location food history afternoon tea, it was dreamy!"

"Our room was a little small but it’s a historic hotel so that’s to be expected"

"Beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff. Historical luxurious feeling. Good food. Beautiful building. A bit pricey, but should be on your bucket list!"

"A delightful property, full of history set within wonderful grounds. Wonderful staff, who were friendly and very professional. Great car parking. Fantastic views over the fjord from our room window."

"Room rather small. No safe. Restaurant dress code not enforced. Dinner was “fine dining”, which is fine for those who like that sort of thing."

"A very special hotel! Staff and the atmosphere of the place make you feel like you are back in time."

"Although our booking was for 2 single beds we got a double bed. There are no single beds in the hotel. But I guess this is Booking's fault."

"Friendly staff and great presentation of the hotels history."

"A small negative was that the dinner service was slow, but that was the start of the season."

"Delicious breakfast, amazing location, friendly staff, superb dinner (although the steak was literally the size of a coin)."

"Amenities were missing in the room (body soap bottle was empty) and the pipe bringing hot water to the shower gets extremely hot, I burned myself when I touched the battery."
