"Very good location at the start of the Souks. You are in the city so no need to cross any streets to walk around and visit anything. Good advice to go to the Hammam around the corner (La Rose). Nice rooms and nice breakfast"

"Sometimes communication with the staff is tricky as one person only speaks French and can come across very rude trying to communicate. The bathroom does not have any ventilation so it is very hard to get rid of the steam and it takes a while for it to go away. Communication is very strange as the people on booking messages are not the same ones as at the Riad. So you have to “catch” them while you are there to be able to communicate correctly."

"Riad Selouane is based in a very nice area of Marrakech. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Nouri gave us a quick tour of the place when we got there. He recommended places to visit and where to get a good coffee. He is a wonderful conversationalist and speaks multiple languages. We got dinner on our first night and it was a good introduction to Moroccan cuisine. Our room was beautiful and kept really clean by housekeeping every day. The bed was very comfortable. We slept so well! Breakfast is prepared with intention and you get to try different foods."

"Everything! Location is great, spotless rooms and riad it self, and the most importantly the hosts. Manager of the place and the rest of the staff was brilliant. Always helpful, kind and friendly! Definitely recommend!"

"If I have to add, there was a bit of humidity in the riad, but I also think it was the weather itself, but that definitely wasn’t the dealbreaker!"

"Staff were excellent especially Hafida who was so friendly and helpful. The riad is in an exceptional position with easy access to the medinas and local restaurants. Room was comfortable and breakfast varied by day which was great as we were there for five nights."

"What is not to like - Khalid, our host was extremely warm, helpful and hospitable. The location was just perfect, in the historic part of the city and in walking distance to many of our activities. The riad itself is just gorgeous - a little piece of paradise tucked away, and so quiet. Our bed was really comfortable and they came and cleaned the room every day. I can't believe what great value Riad Selouane is. Highly recommend."

"The rooftop terrace is beautifully decorated with pot plants, tables, chairs and loungers, and has great views over the city. It is well positioned for easy access to taxis on the outskirts of the Medina and within easy walking into the markets. The staff are very helpful and attentive and willing to assist with booking transfers and day excursions."

"Everything!! From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. They let us use the facilities whilst our room was prepared, stored our luggage, and gave us lots of local advice. On check out, again nothing was too much trouble, they let us store bags and when we went back to collect, they let us use the WC / Shower to freshen up (we'd been quad biking in the desert) and change before leaving for the airport. The room was lovely and breakfast authentic and tasty. I could not rate this place highly enough and will be recommending to my friends and definately be back."
