Green turtle

"Perfeito para quem quer tentar ver a desova das tartarugas no Turtle Watch Rekawa, porque é exatamente ao lado e dá para esperar aparecer a Tartaruga deitada no quarto e enviar WhatsApp para o centro da tartaruga avisar quando começar, já que não tem horário certo. Infelizmente no dia que fui, não teve Tartaruga. Ainda bem que estava no hotel e pude esperar no quarto. As pessoas que esperaram no centro da tartaruga, ficaram de 19 as 23h na recepção do centro esperando sem nenhum conforto. Então ficar ao lado para quem quer ver a desova é fundamental. Conforto: bastante Limpeza: boa Tamanho: amplo Hotel tem restaurante, comi um camarão grelhado incrível, um dos melhores pratos que comi no sri lanka."

"Recepcionista não fala quase inglês e muito dificil responder mensagem no booking e WhatsApp. Outro funcionário que faz a comida, fala mais inglês. No check out chamei algum funcionário para ajudar com as malas, mas nenhum respondeu. Liguei o carro para ir embora e ninguém apareceu. Vista para a praia é somente de um pequeníssimo trecho do mar. Café da manhã: farto, muita variedade, com frutas deliciosas, mas a parte da comida típica não estava tão boa pois estava fria e o gosto não estava saborosa. Achei curioso pois foi o mesmo chef que fez um jantar divino, no café já não manteve o sabor. Faltou luz de manhã, não sei se é frequente."

"Really liked room with balcony. Very calm location with restaurants and beach nearby. Laundry can be provided. Breakfast was nice and varied."

"It is a bit hard to communicate in English with hosts. Sheets were with holes in it. Toilet in poor quality ( was moving ), toilet doors is hard to close. Sometimes, electricity goes off as you need to reinsert the card. Towels were also old."

"In itself it is a nice place. The crew is friendly, whenever they are around. The room is spacious, the bed comfy. And the common area with tables and sofas is nice. It is also very close to the beach! Breakfast was good!"

"The crew was mostly to be seen in the morning time, which made the place feel empty during the day/evening. Most things worked as it should, but there was a feeling that the place could need a gentle hand in some areas - cables without a lightning bulb attached, a lot of switches on the walls that did nothing, and so on... Also the beach is unswimmable due to high waves - not the resorts fault however! But nice to know, if you plan on staying for beach days..."

"Fabulous location 2 mins walk from the beach and lovely lagoon and wetlands nearby; comfy bed; lovely room; friendly family; loved sitting on the balcony. Recommend the café opposite for meals."

"Bathroom wasn’t great - dripping tank above loo, loose tap, tired looking. Air con switch too high for me to reach. Breakfasts were very carb heavy and no choices. Card machine didn’t work when we checked out so had to get cash - nearest ATM a few km away, so good to be prepared for this eventuality."

"Excelent location near by a great beach. For someone the waves can be uncomfortable (I don't recommend for small children), we had a lot of fun with them and we enjoyed empty beach. Near is also a few good restaurants. The restaurant in the facility was not working during our stay, but the breakfast was good. Room was spacious, AC working very well and when we had any trouble, the host was trying to help us."

"Wifi didn't reach our room when we arrived and had to wait until the next day to be fixed. In the evening we also found out that we have just 1 blanket (ok for one person) and nobody was on site to give us the second. We tried calling to the number but nobody picked it up. Fortunately the host arrived before 8 am, so we received a second blanket. Also, in the fridge was 1 old lime after someone before us and on the balcony was a colony of orange ants (fine by me, we were in the nature), but as the balcony was kinda dusty and there was half eaten soap on the couch (probably from a squirrel), it rather showed that someone didnt clean the balcony."
