"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."

"Excellent hotel with traditional charm (unlike those non-descript modern hotels that look the same all over the world). Very welcoming and helpful staff. Nicely furnished and clean room, new bathroom. All in all highly recommended."

1 - poderia ter copos no quarto ( pelo menos 2) 2 - alarme disparou justo na porta do meu quarto, às 7 e pouco da manhã, pois estavam reparando um transformador na rua, e ficou soando durante um bom tempo, até que alguém desligou. Não havia luz no hotel. 3 - e poderia ter mais PH disponível no banheiro

O Wi-Fi e o ar-condicionado não estavam funcionando. Mesmo reclamando na recepção, continuamos sem Wi-Fi.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable — we slept really well. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and quiet, perfect for a short getaway. La piscine était sur entretien et en train detre remplir. Dommage pour nous que on ne pouvait pas nager. Mais prochainement ca sera possible.

"Mohammad was quite helpful. The sizes were quite small but did meet the purpose. A little over priced TBH but was OK."

"Breakfast was great. Location was excellent. Office staff were helpful especially the lady in charge. She was very helpful, efficient and very polite. Her approach was superb. Unfortunately didn't get her name but she is from Lomolomo village ."

"Island Hopper was recommended by a friend and didn't disappoint. The staff made us feel at 'home' right from the airport pick up. The beds are more comfortable than ours at home. The restaurant is also excellent! Hope to be back one day."

Unico detalhe, a piscina nao tinha aquecimento.

Os funcionários são muito atenciosos, super educados e gentis, com destaque para o atendimento do café da manha, simplesmente amamos!!! Muito obrigada!!!"

"Très bon rapport qualité prix. Chambre propre, Calme et confortable . Le gérant est très serviable, abordable et de bons conseils pour les randos, aluguers etc....."

Le seul petit bémol, pour le petit déjeuner  nous aurions préféré des jus de fruit corrects plutôt que chimiques proche du soda.

"Location was spot on, right in the city centre and close to the bus station. The beach is 5 minutes away. Lovely lady at the front desk. She upgraded me to a sea view room, without me even asking."

The hotel is a bit dated, but you've got what you pay for.

No wifi in the rooms. Which is actually not that bad. Helps disconnecting a bit.

"Location has major shopping centers, restaurants and popular beaches either on site or close by. We love the water park, restaurant and beach on site."
