First room I got was stucked away and there was a cockroach but they changed the room immediately for me

"Everything. The place is beautiful, super cozy, and very clean. You can really feel the love and attention to detail everywhere. The chill areas are great to relax, and the breakfast was more than decent. Amélie, the owner, is an amazing host – so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Her Auberge is truly a dream."

The only small downside was the location being a bit far from the central bus station, but that’s just a personal preference and didn’t affect the overall great experience.

"Perfect location within a couple of minutes' walk from the main train station (and a big mall with a supermarket open until late), surprisingly quiet for being in the very centre of the city, exceptionally clean. Great value for money. Very satisfied, thank you so much!"

Toilet room very cold in winter but you don't spend a long time in it anyway, lol. Mattress could be a bit better but nothing that prevented a good night's sleep.

"Simples porém limpas… Cama confortável, lençóis limpos, excelente ar condicionado… Staff solicito… Tem um terraço onde podem ser lavadas as roupas num tanque e há onde secar… Área comum aconchegante e possui ferro de passar e secador de cabelos para emprestar. Localização excelente, perto do comércio e da agência dos correios onde fizemos o melhor câmbio de Israel.."

"Ótima localização em San Pedro, próximo à farmácias, restaurantes e fácil acesso à ônibus. Fácil acesso à Universidade da Costa Rica também, região com muitas opções de padarias e hortifrutis. Bairro seguro! As áreas comuns são arejadas e têm espaços externos com luz natural. Limpeza nos banheiros pelo menos três vezes ao dia. A equipe do hostel é muito prestativa e simpática, fui muito bem recebida!"

As molas do colchão da cama do quarto individual que fiquei estavam um pouco prejudicadas, deixando-o inclinado. Incomodou, mas achei que estava ok pro custo da hospedagem. Fora isso, algumas coisinhas de casas antigas como traças nos cantos das paredes e pisos de madeira um pouco desnivelados — algo que eu já esperava pelo anúncio e não foi uma surpresa.

"O hostel no geral é bom, limpo e confortável. O único porém é o wi-fi que é bem ruim. Estávamos achando que o wi-fi ruim era um problema geral da cidade, uma vez que Bagan é uma cidade do interior, mas fomos em um restaurante simples e lá o wi-fi estava ótimo, então constatamos que o problema era a rede do hostel mesmo."

If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

"Foi um ótimo lugar! Achávamos que iriamos compartilhar o banheiro com outras pessoas e tivemos a supresa de termos um banheiro só para nós 3! O quarto era bem espaçoso e muito limpo. Igor e sua esposa foram um amor! Igor fala espanhol o que nos ajudou a nos comunicar melhor porque nosso inglês nao era muito bom. A localização é ótima perto de tudo!"

Inside the cabins gets really hot during the day. Not a single spoon in the hole place to eat my soup. To enter the compound there's a very awkward padlock where you have to drop everything on the floor to open the door. Not good if the floor is wet or in the darkness of night

"Gostamos de tudo! Do espaço do quarto, da organização, do ambiente, especialmente da area da cozinha compartilhada. Adoramos!"

O aquecedor poderia ser um pouco mais potente, e o banheiro poderia ter uma divisória ou elevação no chão para não molhar muito na area ao redor! Mas não nos impossibilitou em nada. Voltaria outras vezes!

Espaço entre dois beliches muito estreito. Altura da cama de baixo para a cama de cima, estreito também. Poderia ter mais banheiros e duchas.
