"Very nice host, trying to accommodate all my requests. Very authentic stay close to the volcano. The volcano and the red glow are visible from the hut."

As all activities and transport are organized by the host, I sometimes had to wait quite long time for the driver to arrive. This was not the hosts fault, but it is important to know when planning a trip to Tanna.

"Nice size single room with private bathroom and air-com. Very central both to the old part and the main train station. There was a fridge, a kettle and chai offering and water in the room. I read reviews complaining about lighting which I found sufficient and about duvet and for me was also ok despite being August because of air-con."

The only problem I found was the toilet floor getting get after shower. I have been in some guest houses like this and they offer sandals which saves the problem.

"Very friendly and helpful hosts, very sweet of them to call and paid for a taxi for us when we were leaving. They offered us food and presents too. Informed us of good spots to visit too."

Wifi was a bit slow, but not a big problem.

The room was clean, tidy, and pleasant, a cozy little guest unit that felt very private and welcoming. She’s also an amazing cook, the meals were delicious, thoughtful, and full of love. All around is the magical quiet of an authentic village, with green nature and a calming view. You’ll also be greeted by Chucha, the sweet family dog, who clearly loves guests and adds even more charm to the stay. A warm, peaceful local experience, exactly what I was hoping to find."

"Tudo!! Desde a limpeza do espaco à simpatia do staff. O quarto em que ficamos foi o bungalow e foi o melhor que podiamos ter escolhido! Com uma varanda privada, vista para a piscina, lago e animais foram 2 dias que deviam ter sido 10! Recomendo e com certeza voltarei. Não esquecer de mencionar a variedade do pequeno-almoço. 10/10"

I think the aesthetics could be improved. A bit of love into gardening and the outdoor settings for the guests.

"This place is a real gem for bidget travelers! The apartment was renovated and clean, the kitchen is well-equipped, the security is very high and the personnel was also super amicable!!🤍🤍🤍 It's quiet and is situated in a safe area - you can walk alone even at night there. The rooms are quite spacious and have enough sockets and furniture. There are a couple of stores around and even a local eatery with tasty food. The owner was ready to help with any questions and was super friendly too. Totally recommended!! 🫶🏼💕"

Travesseiro de casal (um só da largura da cama). A pensão tem 10 quartos e 4 banheiros, sempre limpos e disponíveis. Toalhas boas. Ducha boa. Não deixe de comprar algun recuerdo na Pequeña Reposteria de las hermanas de iesu communio e conversar com as irmãzinhas que são a imagem da paz e da alegria"

Não prestamos atenção na hora da reserva - não tem depósito de bagagem. Embora a anfitriã tenha sido simpática o tempo todo, qdo pedimos pra deixar a mala ela arrumou um espaço meio a contragosto

"Local muito tranquilo e agradável! Os quartos tem uma varadinha, a cozinha é bem boa e as instalações são limpas e arrumadas. Tem local pra colocar roupa molhada pra secar, restaurante do lado e comércio próximo. As praias ficam cerca de 15min andando. Muito bom o lugar, gostei bastante e recomendo!"

Essayer de voir avec Google Map la problématique de la direction GPS qui n'est pas la bonne... Merci à l'hôte qui, devant mon désespoir, est venu à ma rencontre ! Cette remarque ne remet nullement en cause la qualité de l'hébergement.

"The personal attention of the wonderful owner stood out for us. He went out of his way to collect us from the ferry and take us to the airport the next day. He provided us with a fabulous breakfast too - the best we’ve had over our whole trip. We loved meeting him and talking to him."

No filters for the coffee maker. The streets are in bad shape once you drop off the Main Street to get to the house.
