"Set in nature very relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was good. Taxi came to pick us up at the airport. Felt looked after."

"The structure and staff were perfect. Mamadou picked me up at the airport and was always there for me. The breakfast was always good, and there's also the option of dinner for a small fee, and the dinner was always delicious. Mariama is very good and kind. The owner, Renata, was also kind and always available. The accommodation is basic, with everything you need: quiet, a large bed, a bathroom, mosquito nets, and electrical outlets. I had a great time."

"Great place. Quite. About a km from the beach. It's probably better if you have your own transport, but taxis can be available if needed. Fantastic staff. Delicious breakfasts, thanks to Mariama. I had dinner there one night and it was also delicious. A couple of monkeys hang out there as well."

"A peaceful place just 10 minutes from a quiet, beautiful beach. The place is run by Renate who is great to talk to and can advise you about onward travels as well as local life. The huts are clean and have a private bathroom, there is plenty of space to sit outside. Best of all is the breakfast in the morning with fruit, oats, bread, eggs and even cheese . I highly recommend this place."

"My room had everything one could desire for self-reliance. Nice folks who bent over backwards to accommodate my every wish. I couldn't have been more pleased. From the outside, the place looked simple, but the room itself was actually nicer and better equipped than the Sheraton in Brussels or the King Fajd Palace in Dakar which I had stayed in en route."

"What a great find, boutique really sums it up, only a few rooms, feels vey unique and special, the owner meets and greets and very quickly all the staff get to know you, and make an effort to as well - whether laying your normal place for breakfast through to knowing your preferred drinks. There is a trust bar and Saney even went and got my fav soft drink from the store for me. Saney is a real gem, as an owner he really cares about his staff, personal development and making Gambia a better place, I loved chatting to him and getting his views. Plus don’t forget this is a true Ecco hotel, everything is self sustained. Room always cleaned to a high standard, I house menu for lunch and dinner is all freshly cooked with two great chefs, Rob the day time chef does a great red spiced sauce. Pool area clean and the Wi-Fi is ok - I know Saney discussed hoping to upgrade to fibre when it’s ready. So nothing put praise, small, friendly and value for money."

"All the staff were very friendly from the chaps on the gate to the cleaners and ground maintenance men. The apartment was very spacious and the bed was massive and very comfy. There is loads of out door areas to relax, the pool area was clean with an attendant there throughout the day who supplied towels for the sunbeds. Easy access to the beach. The apartment has 2 large balconies with a table and chairs on one. They have a tour guide onsite who organised all our outings for a good price and arranged a taxi for us to call on whenever we needed him."
