"We were very lucky to be given an upgrade on arrival. Our room was delightful, the staff were very courteous and friendly and the location was rural and quiet which suited us perfectly. After a very busy day, we took a walk around the farm on a gorgeous summer evening listening to the birds in the surrounding silence - very relaxing."

"Booked this for the free parking & it's location. Close to the park & ride which meant getting into the city was stress free. Plenty of places to eat within a short distance. Wendy our host was very attentive & made sure we had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice, it kept us going for the day. So glad we found this B&B, so much nicer than staying in an impersonal hotel. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stayed. We live in Yorkshire (recently moved) now, but i had an early hospital appointment in Derby. Its great as we had our chis with us and it was quiet. We were able to walk them nearby and it was very quiet, a great nights sleep. I would definitely stay here again if i had an early am appt until i am discharged."
