"It was very comfortable, everything was new and clean. The apartment is very close to the GR5 which was handy for us. We loved the repurposing of the transformer house into accommodation. Beautifully done."

"Un intérieur cosy où l’on se sent très vite chez soi. La cuisine est spacieuse et donne envie à se mettre au fourneau bien qu’il manque un bon nombre d’ustensiles mais cela n’était pas l’objet de notre venue."
"Ma compagne et moi-même sommes relativement grands, la chambre nous a apparu plutôt orientée enfant. Il semble que l’étage soit en cours d’aménagement, cela sera un vrai plus pour des adultes."

"Ausstattung der Küche. Die Gastgeber haben freundlicherweise den Pellet-Ofen bereits eingeheizt. Darüber waren wir sehr dankbar. Wir sind ziemlich durchnässt von der Wanderung ins Transfo angekommen. Kommunikation war immer sehr schnell. Merci!"
"Das Schlafzimmer war sehr klein. Uns war klar, dass eine Reinigungspauschale bezahlt werden muss. Für eine Nacht ist sie etwa gleichviel, wie die Übernachtung selber. So wirkten dann die zusätzlichen 10 Euro für Bettwäsche und Badetücher etwas kleinlich."

"Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Les enfants sont très content de leur séjour et le lieux était chaleureux malgré le froid. Sincèrement je conseillerais aux personnes qui vont allez visiter le Mont Saint-Michel et ces environs d'aller séjourner au Cottage La Chaumière."

"L'appartement en duplex est un membre d'une maison de village, il a bien été rénové par les propriétaires qui l'ont habité, on bénéficie donc de tout leurs aménagements et confort , il y a beaucoup de rangement, les chambres sont spacieuses. Pas de bruit, sauf la mélodie de l'eau de la rivière qui passe en contre bas. Le chemin pour rejoindre les pistes et assez facile. Ambiance vieux village (!! les rues d'accès sont étroites)"
"The building contains 2 apartments. We (2 adults and 1 child) stayed in the self-contained 1 bedroom apartment ( with added sofabed), which is downstairs with its own entrance. There is a separate 3-bed apartment with a terrace upstairs. Stephanie and Pascal were great hosts, super friendly, engaged and interested/interesting people to chat to, who were always happy to help. It was clear they take pride in the chalet. The apartment was lovely. Well-thought out, comfortable, very clean, and modern, but with character. It had everything we needed. The location was especially superb for a multi-activity holiday. In a week, we hiked up high (to 2650m), went canyoning, rafting, did a couple of big zip wires across the Durance gorge, and via ferrata, all within 40 minutes drive from the apartment. In the winter there would be skiing just as close by. Supermarkets and Briançon town are only a short drive away. Fantastic stay, we plan on returning, and would definitely recommend."

"It is exactly as seen in the photos, but they've made a few updates since which could only be described as improvements. The place is welcoming and very nice. Will definitely stay here again! The place is quiet and a nice respite from city living. It also has the advantage of being 500m higher than Tallard, so it's cooler when the town below is scorching."
