"The property was located in a lovely quiet lane in the country only a short distance from Lonlay-l’abbaye. Very clean and tidy, really nicely presented. Lovely big garden. The welcome from Anne was great, a lovely friendly lady. Exactly what we needed for a few days to explore Normandy and the local area."

"Anne is a wonderful host and her gite is a perfect base from which to explore this fascinating area of France. We visited in October and found the property to be spacious, clean and very cozy despite the cold weather. The lounge with pellet-fired wood burner is a particularly lovely place to relax after a day out. Along with a spacious interior, there are also really beautiful gardens to enjoy in any season. In summary, we loved our stay and will be back next year for sure. Highly recommended - thank you Anne! :)"

"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung in der Normandie sehr genossen. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig – perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die tolle, sympathische Vermieterin, bei der wir uns sofort gut aufgehoben gefühlt haben. Wir kommen bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder!"

"A perfect stop-over during our road trip. In a quiet village setting, adjacent to a large lake and nature. The superior rooms are immaculate and the evening meal in their gourmet restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Everybody slept well, which is unusual in our family, so the quiet area and comfortable beds did the trick. Be aware that the hotel rooms are all upstairs with no lift access. Our disabled son is small enough to carry so it was not a concern for us and we were aware of this before booking. The restaurant, bar and reception has ramp access and the staff were all very polite, welcoming and accommodating of our need for wheelchair space at the dining table. The breakfast was more than sufficient to set us up for the next leg of our journey. We did not have the time to enjoy the surrounding area too much but would consider this hotel for future longer stays when exploring the region. Merci Le Cheval Blanc"
