"We stayed four nights as a family of four. The chalet is simply furnished and located just on the outskirts of the small town. The public swimming pool had alas closed the day before in preparation for the return to school. There are a number of other wild swimming spots a short drive away. This is deep France. The local population, and your neighbours if staying, are cows. There are a few restaurants and shops in Etang, otherwise head into Autun for a wider selection of places to eat and such. Overall this was a very relaxing place to stay with wonderful night skies. The coffee maker provided is the Senseo system so do bear that in mind. The only other negative was the quality of the pillows provided but France, despite my love for it, has never really appreciated the comfort and pleasure of abundant, fluffy pillows! Bah."
