"We loved the breakfast and the spa. The fact that the water in the fridge was for free was not mentioned anywhere. Nice gesture but why not talk about it?"

"The hotel is in need of a makeover. For example, the buttons of the elevator can hardly be pressed anymore. Check-in was very long and uncomfortable. There is hardly any restaurant or cafe in the area. It's really remote. What annoyed us the most was the horrible payment process. We were informed that we should transfer the money to their bank without any explanation and prior to our stay. Eventually we found out that they simply didn't accept Amex but Visa was fine. Also, the response time whether the hotel was accessible after the total powercut in Spain took hours. So we were literally unsure whether we could come or not for a long time - even though services had long been restored. Their emails were only in Spanish. Their VIP club didn't send any confirmation after applying for membership. Is this really a 4 star hotel??"
