"There was nothing to really "like" - nothing standing out - IMHO room facilities, decoration, bathroom and bedding where merely acceptable."

The owner's agony on low power consumption is obvious. 1) the fuse controling TV & AirConditioner was off - had to do a bit of troubleshooting in order to get the TV operational 2) lighting in the room extremely low 3) stove required ~45 minutes to prepare one cup of coffee. The road to get to the property is suitable for one way traffic. If you crossed with another vehicle one of the two would have to reverse. Pet friendliness was limited to the owner's pets and was not extended to the guests' pets. The owner resented the fact that I traveled with my pet noticing that I should have informed up-front.

"Todo! Entorno natural, spa, gimnasio muy completo y realmente destacable, habitaciones, comida fresca y bien hecha, habitaciones y demás instalaciones, espacios comunes, actividades, todo!!!!! Es un lugar al que puedes volver tantas veces quieras y nunca te aburres!"

Lo único a destacar sería que agreguen huevos y opciones más proteicas al desayuno y que mejoren las bicicletas porque los caminos no son sencillos para pasear en ellas, les falta mantenimiento a esas bicicletas también.

"The place feels like home and is just on the edge of the national park. The owner made sure I had everything I needed, even though he wasn't there for the majority of my stay. Suds and Didi that help at the guest house were so amazing. Very caring and friendly and made sure I was entertained during my stay. Didi's cooking is the best I had during my travels in Nepal. This place might not be for people that like comfortable hotels, but I loved staying in a mud house and being this close to nature. I highly recommend it."

The location was at the foot of the hill, which was a bit disappointing. The uphill walk did not get me much higher and I could not progress further along that path.

Iluminação da varanda poderia ter uma forma de acender a luz por fora. Seria prudente colocar a disposição um. tapete antiderrapante na banheira e uma barra de segurança na saída da banheira.

Accueil très rapide, aucune information, pas de code wifi. Pas possible de se baigner dans la piscine, le robot était dedans durant notre séjour. Salle d'eau pas très propre. Manque des rideaux occultants pour ne pas être réveillé par le jour Tiroir cassé Très peu de vaisselle, pas de torchon de cuisine

"The accommodation was very nice. My moto-friend and myself used the fridge to store some food, locally bought in the supermarket. There as no front/backyard to park motorbikes. We however parked in front of the house. We felt confident to park them outside. Nice Mountain view from the balcony."

Some more kitchenware would’ve been nice. Not much soundproofed but it was silent in the evening in the house; Only some youths outside parading their tuned cars up and down the road.

"C’était super ! L’endroit est magnifique. Les bungalows sont propres, les draps et la salle de bain aussi. C’est agréable de se sentir confortable pendant une longue boucle en scooter. Ils ont un restaurant avec du choix à la carte, ce qui est un point fort puisqu’on est dans un tout petit village où il n’y a pas grand chose Attention, le village de Kong Lor est très éloigné de Na Hin. Notre auberge nous avait dit qu’on ne mettrait que 40 minutes à rejoindre l’auberge. On a mis 1h30, ne vous faites pas surprendre par la nuit qui tombe. C’est dangereux entre les nids-de-poule et les vaches en plein milieu de la route"

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.

"The view from restaurant is awsome, not many places in the world like this. Maria took care of us with love. Breakfast excellent, local fruits, tea and coffee, omelette. Excellent grilled tuna or other fish for lunch or dinner. Cottage was clean, with a view on ocean. We were almost alone there. It is possible to pay by eur or dobra. Maria also arranged tacxi for the airport."
