"Beautiful hotel and surroundings. The town, Michamvi Kae itself is a bit sleepy but fun place!"

The staff was not to helpful when getting us a bajaji or boda. The restaurant food was amazing, even though paying additional 2$ for eggs for breakfast is way to overpriced compared with what you get at other hotels.

"This is a place where everything works -- gas, electric, water. Enough pots and pans for everyone. We enjoyed the stay. The place was clean, sheets were clean, towels and soap present, and there was working cleaning tools to keep the place clean. The host had thought of everything. The WiFi was superb. And the park outside is well-maintained and enjoyable."

A work desk was missed. Indoor parking not available, but the are is quite safe and secure.

"Fantastic views of the Matterhorn, plus the town of Zermatt, especially from the bedroom upstairs which means the view is wonderful to look at when you wake up in the morning! Very comfort and cosy refurbished old cabin which has real authenticity. The owners are very friendly and always helpful."

The three flights of stairs to go to the toilet during the night and carting up all our ski gear from the road below.

"This accommodation is absolutely wonderful! The house is beautiful and very clean. Even though there is no air conditioning, it stays surprisingly cool. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are also dogs, cats, and chickens on the property, which we really enjoyed. They are super sweet. The property manager, Jésus, is such a kind person. He is always available and happy to help if you need anything. I would definitely recommend this place."

The only downside is that it can get quite noisy. Every morning around six, the school bus drives through the main street honking loudly. There are also a lot of trucks passing by, which can be pretty noisy. On top of that, the rooster loves standing right next to the bedroom window to wake you up. Since there is a school next door, you will also hear music and kids early in the morning.

"Marc e Vee são ótimos anfitriões, com otimas dicas locais e sempre dispostos a ajudar, além do transfer que eles fazem já incluído na locação. A casa embora fique afastada do agito da ilha, em 15 minutos de carro vc estará em Palm Beach ou Baby Beach. Aconselho alugar um carro com o próprio Marc! A casa é confortável e fica num lugar tranquilo, com uma piscina privativa e uma varandinha aconchegante. Tem um mercadinho perto para emergências e um food truck próximo tambem. Nossa estadia foi ótima e pretendemos voltar no futuro."

I would like to suggest to have more small spoon. There were only 2 so not enough for a family of 5

"It’s super secluded! Very quiet. Had facilities from the 90s for kids and family to roam, cycle or just simply walk by the river. The family running the place are very welcoming. Great for fam with young kids"

The property is generally old, not that it’s not well kept but I think it’s kept as best as they can.

"Our third visit to the chalet....as ever, the chalet was beautifully presented, comfortable and warm, with everything you need. The view is to die for and Noirin and her husband were a great help, as always, and looked after us in every way....a tue gem of a property...."
