Loved the place

"Small authentic hotel with a beautiful view of the tea plantations. We booked a bungalow with a balcony, bathroom and bedroom. Breakfast was good, but we waited for dinner for more than 1.5 hours."

It was cold in the room, shower doesn't work

Things were a little disorganised. Wifi only worked near the main restaurant hut.

This is not an issue with Ursak Camp itself, but rather a helpful tip for future visitors. Google Maps and Waze often suggest a route through Sinjajevina Mountain. At first the road looks paved and normal, but eventually it ends. In winter there may be snow, and it is easy to get stuck there. There is also almost no mobile signal in that area. It is much safer to approach Ursak Camp through the town of Kolašin and enter from the lower road. The mountain road may be fine in summer, but in winter it is better not to take that route.

"Khulan was super helpful, professional and spoke good English. Her advice and organisation was excellent. It was friendly, relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Turtle rock was a good hike that took about 4.5hrs there and back, but hiking anywhere in the national park was spectacular. Luckily the weather was sunny and warm. Visiting the Chinggis Khaan Statue on the way from Ulaanbaatar prior to check-in worked well."

"I liked the concept of this place - It’s a rustic, farmhouse-like accommodation with the fireplace in our rooms and the horses outside. The hosts were very accommodating, giving us a free upgrade for our rooms and allowing a late breakfast. The food there was great. Would be good to have more matchsticks/some firestarters to light up the fireplace!"

"Rented a cottage room, very functional and warm in winter ! 32 C :) hot water, 2 rooms."

There is a steep stairs on the 1st floor to enter your rooms.

On Weekends it gets quite loud at the pool area as it is open to foreigners and restaurant guets in general.

First of all please do not rely on the reviews here. The most one I think are fake reviews. This is now the real situation at this so called Nature "hotel". Flies flies flies. Everywhere thousand of flies. Flies in the rooms, flies in the restaurant everywhere you will have the flies. This is an indicator about the bad hygiene in this hotel. I have booked to so called King Room with Mountain view. It sounds very friendly but the reality is totally a horror. The room is very dirty and most issue it is wet and everywhere you see mold. When you enter the room you smell the moldy air. Absolutely unhealthy enviroment. Even the bedding is moldy and wet. The floor is wet. The walls are wet. We have to use hair dryer to have a little bit dry feeling when we sleep. But we could not sleep very well. Very terrible situation. Beside the moldy enviroment the room cleanless is terrible. Everywhere died flies and their feces. Stains on bedding and hairs. The bathroom was so dirty that we have avoided to take a shower. The toilet was not cleaned. The breakfast was consist of only rice and noodle and some unfresh cakes. On the food there are a lot of flies. They have a menu but most ones are not available. So we ate some noodle but was very low quality. Now my frustration. I have paid 1.4mRP for one night. In Indonesia you can stay in a very good 4 star Hotel for this price. I have requested a refund but the owner/staff was very unfriendly and not collaborative. For 200kRP you can stay in Bromo/Tosari in every homestay which is more better than this kind. So dont rely on the pics and reviews. The guys are cheating in a high level. Please be really careful to book this hotel. I have already claimed to booking.com. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The tented room was very comfortable and we loved the deck with the far reaching views and watching the animals. We did two game drives here with Lucky and he was excellent."

"This has been an interesting and a great experience, quite different from the other stays here in Samui. The location is nice, the beach is just outside the caravan (the sea is not really swimmable in the low tide though). The food they offer in the menu was quite delicious. The atmosphere is good too, and in the evening the whole place really transforms, with all the lights, the music and the screen with a projector."

It's a bit smelly inside, probably due to humidity. The external block of the aircon is mounted on the caravan, transmitting the vibration to the whole construction while working.

"The cabin was so cute and cozy. Ton made everything to make the stay awsome. I enjoyed sitting outside and just listen to the coast."

The bathroom itselfe and the toilett is in another house but not far away from the cabin, just like 20 steps.

"O local é perfeito para procurar a aurora boreal, tem o céu mais lindo que já vi e toda a tranquilidade do mundo. Os pods são ótimos para quem quer ter um espaço para descansar com um bom aquecedor. Toda a infraestrutura atendeu muito bem e estava tudo sempre muito limpo, tudo parecia novo e muito bem cuidado. O restaurante é ótimo para fazer refeições também. Precisei pedir carona para ir e para voltar de Borgarnes, mas foi muito tranquilo e rápido mesmo na escuridão total. Recomendo demais e foi uma experiência única!!!"

"Fantastic location, polite and professional staff, nice and clean room."

Swimming pool was closed for the four days I stayed there. Food options were limited but it was during Ramadan.

"Malý rodinný kemp. Majitel příjemný, ochotný. Večer posezení u pivka, kdo chtěl, tak i s večeří. Bazén k dispozici večer i ráno. Naprostý klid a uvolnění. Spali jsme ve svém autě. K snídani vejce, uzeniny, sýr, rajče.. vše domácí a naprosto úžasná švestková marmeláda."

Záchody a sprchy v kabinkách vedle sebe, ale čisté.
