"This is our first visit to Barbados. Great Hosts. They met us at check-in. The host couple are extremely friendly. They provided snacks and even a bucks-fizz drink for our arrival. The kitchen and the bathroom were well stocked: home away from home. The property was quite spacious and very clean. It is located in a quiet location but within 10 minutes' / 1 mile walk of RESTAURANTS, SHOPS and the all-important BEACH. There are many Beaches within a 2 mile radius. The location is extremely perfect for getting around. This property exceeded our expectations. Aside from these, communication was tip-top. We run a few UK holiday-let properties ourselves including the highly rated Residential Quarters, General Gordon Square. We are well travelled. We confidently rate this property a 10 out of 10. "The property has a genuine Bajan vibe about it. It's old, it creaks a bit and it won't win any award for modern minimal design... and it's all the better for it. You instantly feel at home. Beds are comfy, everything's clean and where you expect it. My visit was for a work trip so super impressed with the wifi speed and its stability which is rare for such places. Beaches, boardwalk, bar a restaurants all within a five minute walk. Host greeted us on arrival so no faffing around with key locks. There's many luxurious, five-star, modern accommodation options in Barbados. This is not one of them. Instead, you have a lovely, homely apartment in which you can't help to feel properly embedded into to the local culture. Highly recommended and proof you don't need to remortgage to enjoy Barbados."

"Outstanding private Villa in a secluded garden setting close to the main beaches in Hastings and only a short walk to Carlisle Bay / Garrison area of Bridgetown. Well equipped kitchen and great restaurants and supermarkets close by. Excellent communication from Dave and Ester and great support from the next door neighbours Indira and Orlando who were there to greet us and who couldn't have been anymore helpful."
